Walker

We have been trying to get Isaac to walk more and more. And though he does walk on furniture and when we hold him -he hasn't yet progressed to standing on his own..truthfully he doesn't seem too interested in walking. He gets around pretty good by crawling. So we got him a walker -see below. He is totally uninterested. The reason: probably b/c the first time he tried it the walker rolled too fast for him and he took a digger! So -Adam and I thought "oh well -he'll figure it out on his own eventually."

Well, a few days later much to our surprise he found himself a new walker....his highchair! Not only is it on wheels but we can lock the front wheels which creates enough resistance that the highchair won't roll too fast so he can keep up with it and actually push it around the house. It's the cutest thing!

Hey- I want my money back on that walker!!!

I love this. Hang in there, Isaac will take off before you know it.

This whole scenario just proves what a genius Isaac is. The first walker didn't work too well for him, so he thought about it for a couple of days and, after careful analysis, figured out that the high chair was a better "first" walker - the one you bought is fantastic and will serve him well in a couple of weeks/months. But how cute are the pictures of him pushing the high chair around - these are priceless
