Bubbles

Bubbles are truly the best invention ever! They are cheap and easy and are entertainment for hours. Everyone loves bubbles -babies, kids, adults. We use the Gymboree brand bubbles -they are non-toxic (so if your kiddo eats them or gets one in his/her eye they won't be hurt), and it comes with an easy bubble blower -lots of bubbles come out or you can switch sides and make one big bubble. I love them!

So easy your baby can do it!

YEAH bubbles!

Easter Festivities Part 4

The final leg of our Easter adventures happened the weekend after Easter at Nanna and Grandpa Rogers house. We went over for a great lunch and Isaac got some great gifts. He got this fantastic car/walker -which he loved, a remote control car, two cute frog stuffed animals and some get clothes. The clothes came in very handy when Isaac blew out his diaper and I had to do an emergency diaper change in the bath tub! :) Yeah Easter!!

Easter Festivities Part 3

The last leg of our Easter festivities was on Easter. My mom came over and we all went to church together. Which was lovely.

Then we went to my parents house with my brother, sister-in-law, and niece and nephew for an egg hunt, dinner, and to celebrate my nephew's birthday.
YEAH! He got one!

Me, Isaac, Mia (niece), Nicholas (nephew), and my grandma.
It was a great day!

Easter Festivities Part 2

After the candy hunt we walked around the rest of the HB park where there were a lot of other fun festivites for the kids. There was a band, an Easter Bunny for pics, a pancake breakfast, a fire engine, a huge tactor, and a police car -all you could take pics with/on/ whatever. It was a lot of fun -and a very fun filled morning for us. Isaac had the best nap afterwards!

Easter Festivites Part 1

For Isaac's first Easter we had so much to do and so much fun! First on the agenda was going to the Huntington Beach Easter Hunt. Please note that it was not the Easter Egg Hunt -meaning instead of the kids seraching of plasic eggs filled with candy they just searched for the candy. Which actually turned out fine -more room in the basket. But before we left I realized that we didn't have an Easter basket -so we had to run to the store to get Isaac one -along with every other parent I might add. :) We got there just in time for Isaac's age group to be let loose. At first it was quite clear he didn't understand what was going on - only that everyone was excited. But once we saw that candy he went stright for it! Human nature I suppose!!

Off we go!

"Look Isaac there's candy!!"

"Got it!"

"Yummy! Candy wrapper!"

"Can't look at camera, eating candy wrapper."

There was so much going on at this Easter Hunt. Which I'll blog about tomorrow --too many pics for this one entry! But stay tuned -later you will see that Isaac has some explaining to do. :) :)

Our second swim class was tonight and again Isaac loved it. Except I think he liked it more b/c he was swimming with Daddy -and we all know that Dads are much more fun!

Swimming

We have just signed Isaac up for swim classes twice a week through the city with our three friends. Our first class was yesterday and he absolutely LOVE it! I think we have a little fish on our hands! To him it was like a big bath tub. The second he got in he was splashing, clapping, and yelling with excitement. Since both Adam and I were swimmers as kids we were really hoping that Isaac would like to swim as well - and after yesterday's class I think he will! I even dunked him under the water twice and he didn't cry at all. He was a bit surprised but had a smile on his face and kept on playing! Next time it's Adam's turn to be in the water with him -so I'll post those pics soon! Stay tuned!

Pasta

Don't you just love pasta?!?! Well -Isaac does too! :)
